Yes. Checking any code on True-Doctor is completely free for the public. You never pay to confirm a doctor, clinic, pharmacy or medicine.
A suspended record exists and is real, but the holder is temporarily barred from practising or operating. Do not rely on a suspended provider until the status returns to Verified.
Use the report page to tell us what you saw — a name, location or code. Reports are reviewed and, where needed, passed to the relevant regulator.
Yes. Registered medicines carry a code or QR you can scan or type. The result tells you whether the product is registered and in good standing, which helps you avoid counterfeits.
Records reflect the licensing bodies responsible for each category: the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC), the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC), the National Drug Authority (NDA), the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), the Pharmacy Council, and the Ministry of Health.
If a code returns no result, treat it as unverified — the person, facility or product is not in the registry. Ask for a valid code, and report the case so it can be checked.
No. Anyone can scan or type a code and read the result without signing up. Accounts are only for institutions and staff who manage records.
